Montara Grampians Shiraz

Aged 15 months in American and French hogsheads, Montara Grampians Shiraz is a rich, elegant Shiraz with sweet floral red fruits, loads of pepper and spice and savoury characters. It is mid-weight with lovely soft gravelly tannins and finishes long onto the palate. Perfect as a match to roast beef, coq au vin or pheasant.

Jimmy Riesling

Chief winemaker Simon Fennell, has crafted an elegant Victorian Riesling from the 2017 vintage, that's vibrant and drinking well now and over the next year or so.Mid golden yellow in appearance. Lime cordial and tropical Splice aromas. Classic lemon and lime sorbet with some marmalade and toast complexity, fruit tingle acidity, generous texture and a vibrant finish. Drinking well.

Montara Grampians Sauvignon Blanc

An exceptional Montara Sauvignon Blanc, made in partial fume blanc style. The wine displays fresh acidity, purity of fruit, light tropical fruits with an abundance of varietal flavour. An ideal summer drink designed to be best enjoyed in the year of release.

Montara Grampians Single Vineyard Mixed Pack

Fruit sourced solely from the “Old Vines” Riesling block of old vines, the original Montara vineyard plantings.The wine has a tension, yet a soft viscous texture ensuring great drinkability. Very limited quantity available. A limited release Single Vineyard wine, with grapes harvested by hand from the original ‘Home Block’ Vineyard Pinot Noir in March of 2019. 40% whole bunches along with uncrushed whole berries were added to small open 2 tonne fermenters for 3 days of cold soak. Natural yeasts were allowed to initiate fermentation before overseeding with cultured Burgundian yeast. The ferment was macerated by foot twice per day, to preserve delicate varietal flavour and capture fruit freshness. The whole bunch stems provide a wonderful spice and structure to the resultant wine. Wine was pressed after 10 days to second use Tonnellerie Tremeaux hogsheads for a maturation of 10 months prior to assemblage and bottling.

Montara Grampians Riesling

This riesling shows great varietal and regional expression with aromas of lemon, lime, and lifted floral notes of elderflower. Silky-soft palate with hallmark regional lemon/lime charactersthe residual sugar of 10g/litre combines well with the wines natural acidity.

Montara Grampians Rose

The wine displays fresh acidity, fruit spice, and complexity. An ideal summer drink designed to be best enjoyed in the year of release. Perfect with antipasto, or on its own as a refreshing summer drink. Colour/Appearance: Salmon Pink Aromatics: Aromas of strawberries and cream, confection with lifted spicy florals. Palate:Bright red fruits with leafy spice, with a refreshing zingy dryness.
