Oakridge LVS Blanc de Blanc Sparkling
Pale straw-green with a super-fine bead. This is very composed and complex, the 6 years on lees producing an array of different notes, some related to fruit others to that extended lees ageing. Sourdough crust, buttery pastry, green apples, toast, candied peel, white pepper and lime leaf all vie for attention. The palate reflects these flavours but also reveals stone fruit notes and a green apple crunchiness. The finish dry and savoury, the lemon-citrus acidity teasing out the length. A complex, refined wine that has depth of flavour, weight, texture and above all freshness.

Oakridge 864 Funder Chard
The Oakridge 864 range is a showcase of highly detailed micro-selections from the most exceptional single vineyard sites in the Yarra Valley. This Chardonnay comes from the Henk Vineyard, Aqueduct Block in Woori Yallock, a north-facing site at 240 metres elevation. Planted in 2008, the vineyard’s red volcanic soils and cool climate produce wines of precision, purity and depth. A vibrant Chardonnay with bold aromas of grapefruit and spice. Once that initial burst settles, an incredibly detailed web of fruit, florals, and spice unfolds - revealing notes of mint fudge, gunflint, and a dash of sea spray and nori. On the palate, ripe citrus, white peach, and green melon take center stage. Hints of cashew and prosciutto lend a captivating nod to umami, while the texture is truly beguiling - striking a perfect balance between grapefruit pith and fleshy gloss for an effortless flow. It is a finely woven tapestry of texture and flavour that lingers long after the glass is empty. How can a Chardonnay hold so much complexity and presence? Unquestionably one of the finest Funder & Diamond releases we have ever seen.

Spicy black fruit - blackcurrant and blackberry, hints of creme de cassis, wet tobacco, iodine, dried blood ferrous notes but with an underlying red fruited nuance. Dark cherry, dried raspberry and light leafy notes. The more you look, the more you see.
