The 2018 Victorian Shiraz exhibits chocolate and warm berry fruits on the nose. On the palate, pepper and spice dominate the American oak's chocolate richness. The winemakers and viticulturists work closely with a dedicated team of carefully selected independent growers. These small family-run vineyards offer unique and subtle soil and altitude differences that provide Redbank's winemakers with an opportunity to create distinctive wines reflecting the finest attributes of the region. Winemaker Marc van Halderen and viticulturist Nick Dry have a simple philosophy: great wine is made in the vineyard. Together, they craft wines from varieties such as Moscato, Pinot Gris, Viognier, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz into styles ranging from aromatic, low alcohol summer whites through to spicy, plummy reds.

The pinnacle of our Pinot Gris – Picked from a single vineyard in the King Valley, selected harvested, then gently whole berry pressed to retain the grape's aromatics. This crisp and fresh Pinot Gris has prominent flavours of nashi pear and orange blossom. The palate has a savory, clean and crunchy finish. With soft acid, it is the perfect wine to sip away at on a hot summer night.

Single Vineyard high altitude Chardonnay from the King Valley is harvested in the early morning cool hours and pressed immediately to maximise the vineyards flavour. Full rich aromas of lemon and peach and gentle oak. The complexity of this Chardonnay is the result of partial barrel fermentation in new, French oak barriques, followed by stirring of the yeast lees for several months. Bursting with white peach, lychee and melon, the crisp finish and length of flavour define this wine.

Clear and crisp like the first winds of Autumn, this full flavoured Savvy is grown in the vineyards of the upper King Valley. Pale straw in colour with fresh aromas of passionfruit and cut grass.
