The Third Generation series is a modern style Chardonnay, Robert Stein Winery has crafted with the exceptional fruits from Mudgee to create this great expression of the vineyard and regional characteristics in a bottle. With the aromas of grapefruit, peach and citrus, fermentation was 80% in stainless steel tank with high lees contact. The remainder time in older oak undergoing partial Malolactic Fermentation with wild yeast, which adds diversity and complexity to the finish.

A touch more residual sugar than normal in this vintage, to ensure it stays within the half-dry category. Once again showing those great lemon/lime citrus characters, with a nice pop of fruit which is balanced out nicely by the crisp, clean acidity. This Single Vineyard Half Dry Riesling was handpicked in the early morning from the bottom half of our Riesling block and whole bunch pressed. Fermentation was cool and slow, with the ferment being stopped at 15 grams residual sugar. The wine was left in tank on lees for a further 4 months, stirring occasionally for further palate texture. This Tawny style fortified is a blend of 5 to 12 year old Port, matured in old rum casks to create a rustic and generous style fortified wine. Best served after meals with hard cheese, and around a campfire with friends.

This Reserve Shiraz is a true expression of our 1976 Block N, planted by our family in 1976. A deep ruby red hue leads to aromas of glazed cherry and earth notes. the palate is medium bodied but with good concentration of black fruits, savoury tannins and great length. This Reserve Shiraz would benefit from cellaring and we recommend decanting before serving.
