Santa Julia El Burro Malbec
Santa Julia El Burro, named for a family donkey, is born in Finca Maipú - a 175 hectare vineyard that has been certified organic since 2001. Together with the 130 certified hectares of organic vines in Finca Santa Rosa, this makes Santa Julia the largest organic producer in Argentina. Natural yeasts are used for El Burro and no sulphites are added. The wine displays a beautiful violet colour, with aromas of cherry and plum. The body is fullish and the flavours plummy, fresh and rich. The wine represents a beautiful and natural expression of the Malbec grape.
Santa Julia Malbec Cabernet Franc Reserva
A richly elegant red from elevated, cool sites at the foot of the Andes. Slow ripening has ensured magnificent fruit expression and freshness. The addition of 30% cabernet franc to the ubiquitous Argentinian malbec works perfectly. The opulence of the black malbec fruit is enhanced by the fragrant elegance and red and black currant fruit notes of the cab franc. A firm tannin finish ensures a great match with red meat.
Santa Julia Reserva Malbec
Santa Julia is a clear example of the combination of the quality and diversity of Mendocinian soils, resulting in this modern wine. Aged in French Oak Barrels for 10 months. Ludicrously dark violet in colour, this Malbec has ripe red and black fruits aromas with notes of vanilla, chocolate and tabacco on the nose. It is medium bodied, with the classic soft tannins of a Malbec.
Santa Julia Tintilla Malbec Bonarda
Aromas of fresh strawberries, raspberries, cherries, typical of carbonic maceration, combined with a soft hint of green notes at the finish that complements the profile of this wine. Juicy, sweet tannins, good natural acidity that gives a particular freshness, combined with a finish that is markedly fruity. Ideal for drinking cold.
Santa Julia Textual Malbec Caladoc
