For many years, Australian winemakers toiled trying to make Merlot that was comparable to the majestic examples from Bordeaux. Many tried but few succeeded. This effort from an up and coming producer is a truly impressive result. Rated 95 points by Halliday's Wine Companion, it has remarkable focus and purity, and is certainly a world class Merlot.
