Suntory Yamazaki Limited Edition Single Malt Whisky
Every year, Suntory releases a new limited edition of their Yamazaki, and in 2016, they gave us another masterpiece. No information on the number of bottles available was unveiled by Suntory for the 2016 version, however, it is bottled at 43% ABV and comprises a combination of young single malts, matured in American oak casks, Bourbon barrels, European oak barrels, Sherry, and Port Wine casks, with some of it having been aged over 20 years.

An annual limited edition from Suntory's Yamazaki distillery, this non-age statement expression is crafted with various different cask types and vintages to create a highly sought-after release. The makeup consists of whisky that has been aged for 20 years in ex European oak that previously housed red wine, whisky that has been aged for 20 years in Port barrels and the body stemming from a younger ex bourbon cask whisky.
