From the grand masters in Port comes Taylor's 10 year old tawny from Portugal. It is derived from maturation in 630 litre casks and is noted for its delicate wood notes combined with gentle scented, sweet ripe red fruits. Displays lovely fresh lemon, spice, floral and caramel notes with a hint of honey. Drier than typical Aussie tawnies, but very enjoyable with power and a very long finish.

Deliciously crisp with flavours of fresh passionfruit. green apple and gooseberry along with a hint of freshly cut grass.

This wine has a crisp and zippy palate with regional varietal flavours of tropical fruit up front and then gooseberry and some herbaceousness across the mid-palate. There is a naturally delicate, cleansing acidity to the wine with a soft, persistent finish.

A great vintage of a great wine. It is fully mature but still vibrant and nowhere near the end of its life. The cork was obviously impeccable as this is a perfect bottle. Wonderful licorice, aniseed and spicy fruit aromas of enormous complexity and charm. Full-bodied, intense and very, very long on the palate. The tannins have softened out superbly. A great wine. This is an immediately approachable wine that exhibits all the hallmarks of classic Australian Shiraz with a core of rich varietal fruit and a vibrant spicy character that just begs to be drunk!
