While one stepped on the barren lunar surface, the other stepped on rich terra rossa soils with the hope and determination to craft wines to rival the world's best. The wine has tropical aromas of passionfruit and guava with a hint of freshly cut grass. This wine has a crisp and zippy palate with regional varietal flavours of tropical fruit up front and then gooseberry and some herbaceousness across the mid-palate. There is a naturally delicate, cleansing acidity to the wine with a soft, persistent finish.

The tannins are energetic, fine grained, slightly puckering in their youth and are held up with layers of tobocca and cedar coming through from the french oak. The wine is powerful, youthful at release and has imposing character yet behind that a vale of delicacy and grace persist on the finish. Should cellar easily 10 years, possibly much longer.

Delightful aromas of white peach, nectarines and subtle citrus zest join hints of cashew and cream. Fresh flavours of stone fruit combine with a tropical and citrus characters, subtle roasted cashews and an underlying creaminess from extended lees stirring to deliver a mouth-filling and enjoyable wine. The wine has a clean, elegant palate, a soft acid backbone and long, persistent finish.

This is such an easy-drinking, soft and approachable wine. There is wonderful flavour and richness but its not at all confrontinga bit like a red wine with training wheelsand a true little treasure!

The wine has an aroma of rich blackcurrant, subtle star anise spice and a touch of eucalypt. French oak maturation is also evident with subtle aromas of cedar and chocolate. A wine of great intensity. It has distinctive blackcurrant and cassis fruit flavours. Subtle oak characters of cedar and spice are also evident. The tannins are fine and elegant a hallmark of the varietal. The palate is well balanced, complex and fulfilling and lingers on the finish.

Taylors One Small Step Cabernet Sauvignon displays juicy blackcurrant fruits along with subtle coffee and savoury cedar flavours and a smooth gentle finish.

Imminently approachable and deliciously fresh, Taylors Discoveries Chardonnay is a pale straw with a slightly green hue, with fresh, lifted aromas of peach and subtle tropical fruit characters along with touch of citrus. Mouth-filling whilst still embracing a light and delicate texture. Refreshing tight acidity and a lovely clean finish.

This wine is generous and rounded at first with juicy, deep berry compote fruits then yielding to a tightly woven frame of firm yet generous tannins. There are alluring, coconutty oak and fine dark chocolate characters, with a deep, soft centre of ripe berry fruits. Elegant acids and light, long tannins carry the palate to deliver a lingering finish.

Taylors Discoveries Shiraz is a deep red with a vibrant purple hues, showcasing lifted fruit aromas of red currant, plum and a touch of spice. Subtle chocolate flavours and savoury characters from the oak maturation add complexity which balance perfectly the rich plum and spice on the palate. Soft and fleshy, with a silky smooth finish. Short term cellaring will reward, however able to be enjoyed immediately.
