Here is the fourth instalment in The Macallan's limited annual Harmony Collection. 'Vibrant Oak' reflects the influence of sherry-seasoned casks having matured in both first-fill sherry-seasoned American oak and refill sherry casks. The whisky was created in collaboration with Cirque du Soleil, and the packaging features characters from its SPIRIT experience which premiered at The Macallan Estate in early 2024. Matured primarily in sherry seasoned American oak with supporting European oak and a subtle influence from ex bourbon casks, it captures a spectrum of honeyed fruit, soft florals and restrained oak sweetness. The aroma leads with peach, nectarine and delicate orchid notes alongside hints of dried tropical fruit, citrus warmth and gentle toffee. The palate follows with a silky, medium bodied profile that layers honeyed malt, peach and apricot compote with light vanilla and measured oak spice.
