This rosé is unashamedly modelled after the fabulously rich, gloriously scented and bone dry rosés of Provence. A fruit-filled palate makes it best served chilled with a summer seafood salad.

Every now and then, in life and in wine, we are presented with unique opportunities to express ourselves and create something truly remarkable. When these rare opportunities arise, we need to capture, nurture and develop them so that their potential is fulfilled. So when Torbreck were given the opportunity to work with one of the most famous vineyards in the Barossa Valley, they were determined to use all their experience to ensure the resulting Shiraz was truly remarkable.

Eden Valley gets the full Torbreck treatment here, a small plot of Eden fruit transformed into a rich lush full bodied wine. Drink now for a velvet sledge hammer, or cellar for a wine of elegance and finesse.

Juveniles is a unoaked blend produced from old vines. Fragrant intense and concentrated it has flavours of blackberry, earth and Asian spices. The length and texture make this great drinking now.

Torbreck, a well-respected winery in South Australia. The Steading is a decadent blend of Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro, the three traditional Barossa varieties. Wonderful richness and bold fruit flavours packed in this bottle yet harmoniouslyýco-exist together. Well developed complexity on the palate, although great to enjoy now, it has great potentialýfor further long term cellar with the right conditions.ý

This blend is unbaked which highlights the natural fruity character of the wine. There's lots of spicy cherry notes with blackberry and plum. Serve with slow-roasted pork shoulder and lots of greens. First made in 2019, The Forebear Shiraz is an ultra-fine, single-vineyard wine born of one of the oldest shiraz vineyards in the world. In the glass, its bouquet wows, resplendent with florals and red berry fruits, while its captivating, textural mouthfeel blends the same fruits with a swathe of savoury notes, round tannins, and sleek acidity. Fruit for The Forebear is hand-picked, and the wine made with the utmost care, just as it would have been in the old days. Before release, The Forebear spends 24 months in French barriques, and then three years in bottle. On its name, Torbreck’s Chief Winemaker, Ian Hongell, says ‘We chose the name 'The Forebear' to honour the pioneering spirit of the Springbetts and other pioneering families and their role in establishing the Barossa as one of the great winegrowing regions of the world. This wine is our tribute to those who came before us.’

The Shiraz grapes for The Struie come from old vines in the Barossa and Eden Valleys. The Eden component brings floral spicy aromas that are supported by more brooding notes of tar and chocolate from the Barossa. The palate is luscious and silky, and this is a Fine Wine favourite.
