West Cape Howe Cabernet Merlot
This WA winery continues to impress with its well-crafted value for money wines. This Cabernet blend has ripe berry fruit characters enhanced by toasty oak and balanced with fine-grained tannins.
West Cape Howe Regional Range Sauvignon Blanc
Very bright and clear with the tiniest hint of pale straw. Beautifully aromatic, this has the typically pungent, grassy and herbaceous aroma that Sauvignon Blanc is renowned for, as well as some light, fresh tropical fruit characters and attractive floral notes. Super delicious on the palate with those zesty and delicious tropical fruit flavours. There's a good balance between these subtle, guava fruit flavours from the slightly riper picked grapes and fresh, zingy acidity from the Sauvignon Blanc from our cooler sites. It's a wine with good palate weight and a lovely, mouth filling, fresh acidity giving good length of flavour. "These wines are from our Estate vineyards, made with minimal winemaking intervention to ensure best possible varietal flavour and regional expression." Gavin Berry, Winemaker Taken from several blocks from which to choose the best parcels and, with the winery on-site, the fruit gets processed immediately, thus ensuring no loss of quality. West Cape Howe Regional Range Pinot Noir
A well coloured Pinot Noir; medium red with good depth. Has a lovely, complex, smoky fruit aroma. There are some definite savoury notes and hints of black tea along with the smoky cherry and light prosciutto-like characters. Distinctively Pinot on the palate with the lovely fullness and palate weight up front. There is good depth of dark, ripe, broody fruit flavours and they are well integrated with the subtle oak characters picked up during the maturation period.
