Domaine Joseph Colin Saint Aubin Compendium
Product Description: Seven plots, one voice—Saint-Aubin with detail and drive. Domaine Joseph Colin’s 2023 Saint-Aubin 'Compendium' is a blend of seven lieux-dits across the appellation, designed to express the full range of what Saint-Aubin can deliver in a single bottle. The name means “synthesis,” and it fits—this is a Chardonnay of clarity, subtle power and quiet complexity. Grown on limestone-rich soils and made with minimal intervention—no bâttonage, no fining, no sulphur until bottling—the wine is fermented in 350-litre oak barrels and aged briefly in stainless steel for added definition. The result? A focused, linear expression with notes of orange citrus, Granny Smith apple, flint and a saline twist. A slight herbal and chalky lift rounds it out, with tension that’s unmistakably Saint-Aubin. Drink now with a short decant or cellar until 2029. It pairs beautifully with roast poultry, shellfish, or rich white fish dishes. Tasting Notes NOSE – Citrus and chalk Orange zest, flint, white flowers and a whiff of sea spray. PALATE – Lively and textured Citrus peel, green apple and a subtle thread of liquorice. FINISH – Mineral and saline Chiselled, with lingering chalk and fine acidity. Reviews & Accolades “Clean, clear-cut fruit, chiselled... slightly saline to finish. This is rather fine in its understated style.” – Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy, 89–91 Points
Domaine Joseph Colin Chassagne-Montrachet Rouge
Product Description: Chassagne’s red side—light-handed, expressive, and quietly complex. Joseph Colin’s 2023 Chassagne-Montrachet Rouge is a study in subtlety and site. Sourced from two high-altitude parcels—Les Pierres and La Poirier du Clos—this is Pinot Noir planted in the late 1960s, grown on clay-limestone soils and farmed organically. The fruit is treated with minimal intervention: whole bunch pressed, no bâtonnage or fining, and only a whisper of sulphur at bottling. The wine opens with vivid wild strawberry, raspberry and cherry, backed by gentle dried herbs and tobacco leaf. Juicy, lifted and layered, it’s a style that sits comfortably in the Bourgogne rouge tradition, but with the detail and texture of Chassagne’s best lighter reds. Fermentation in 350-litre barrels and time in stainless before bottling lends polish without weight. Drink from now to 2027+ with a short decant. Roast lamb, mushroom dishes, or tomato-based pasta will meet it on the right terms. Tasting Notes NOSE – Wild and savoury Strawberry, raspberry, cherry with hints of dried herb and tobacco. PALATE – Juicy and lifted Red fruits, bright acidity and polished, smoky tannins. FINISH – Earthy and fine Gentle grip with lingering herbal and mineral tones. Reviews & Accolades “Juicy, enough fruit to cover the rougher edges of red Chassagne, very nicely made.” – Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy, 89–91 Points

Penumbra by Colin Glaetzer Old Vine Shiraz
Deep rich in colour with sweet ripe fruit and hints of oak on the nose. The palate has all the depth and structure of a premium Barossa Shiraz with good concentration of flavour and overall balance. The word penumbra means a partial shadow, such as an eclipse, between regions of complete light and shadow. The notion of light and shade forming interesting patterns and effects can be clearly likened to the craft of winemaking, where the many nuances involved in making a fine wine are often not easily defined as black and white, but in skilfully utilising the grey areas. The Glaetzer family makes unique and elegant wines that are regarded as classics and are unmistakably from the Barossa Valley. This wine from vines 35-70 years old exhibits great intensity of colour and flavour with a nose of dark fruits, chocolate and spice. Very soft and elegant on the palate, typical of the great Shiraz wines of the Barossa. While drinking beautifully now, this wine will reward with medium term cellaring. With a family history in the Barossa Valley dating back to 1888, Glaetzer Wines was established by Colin Glaetzer after 30 years of winemaking experience. Son Ben worked in the Hunter Valley and as a Flying Winemaker in many of the worlds wine regions before returning to Glaetzer Wines and assuming the winemaking role. The wines are made with great skill and abundant personality.
