Fragrant, pure and elegant Hunter Valley Semillon from the longest running commercial vineyard in Australia. A little history: George Wyndham arrived in Australia in 1823 and promptly set about assembling vast agricultural holdings stretching from Inverell to the Liverpool Plains. In 1904, Penfolds purchased Wyndham Estate and renamed it Dalwood. 63 years later Perc McGuigan, bought the vineyard and winery and renamed it Wyndham Estate, but the Dalwood brand was sold on to Sam and Christie Arnaout and Sweetwater Wines 50 years later, and so Dalwood Estate proudly announces that it is the birthplace of Australian wine. The wines are made by Bryan Currie of Hungerford Hill. Dalwood Estate Semillon grows in sandy loam soil on the south bank of the Hunter River. The 2022 vintage was cool with ample rainfall. The fruit is fragrant with lemon pith and lime zest; the palate is pure and elegant.

Established as an offshoot of Miles from Nowhere in Margaret River, Small World is the fun, loud sister winery which debuted in 2021. Small World select their fruit from various sites in Western Australia, with a special focus on Margaret River by the coast and the Blackwood Valley further inland for this refreshing blend. Harvested in the cool of the night to retain freshness and acidity before it is slowly cold fermented in stainless steel. Lifted aromas of passionfruit, snow pea, honeydew melon and lemon are complemented by hints of dried herbs and fresh lemongrass. Crisp and clean palate with tropical fruit flavours balanced with a vibrant lemon citrus acidity. The perfect partner to seafood, spicy Asian dishes and white meats.

Semillon from the Hunter Valley is a distinctive and unique wine. Pale, vibrant and light bodied when young with the potential to develop incredible texture, richness and complexity with bottle age.

This limited release Patronus The Fawn Semillon was crafted from a select vineyard in the beautiful Barossa Valley. The wine is fresh, fruit forward and crisp with enticing aromas of fresh citrus, crisp apple and a hint of passionfruit. An enjoyable wine with balanced acidity and length. The perfect long lunch wine to crack open with friends.

The making of Dragonfly Sauvignon Blanc Semillon centres on capturing the fresh and alluring tropical and seasonal fruit flavours from the region. A minute portion is fermented in French oak barriques to add a layer of intrigue to the wine. Enticing aromatics of passionfruit, tropical notes, kiwi fruit and lime zest. The palate is crisp and refreshing, having a depth of flavour, tropical spectrum, and a long fine finish.
