Johnnie Walker King George V was created to celebrate the Royal Warrant given in 1934 to the Walker family to mark the exceptional qualities of their whiskies. The King George has more restraint and sophistication courtesy of the Port Ellen Distillery component that is powerful, slow and resonant. It initially shows a profound smoky aroma followed by sweet, fresh fruit (apples, pears, bananas) malt characteristics; developing into rich dried fruit and spicy complexity, raisins, figs and cinnamon. Dewar's 12 Year Old Blended Scotch Whisky has a nose that presents as a complex blended Scotch whisky at first but with time some toffee notes arrive nicely backed by the grain notes. Some good oak spice is also previlent along with some heather. The finish is dry with some cleansing maltiness, a surprisingly long finish that is complex and warming.

With Cadboll Estate Batch 3, the essence and flavor of their cherished Highland home are shared. Crafted by their whisky creators from field to glass, the third batch of this single estate whisky is described as deep and creamy, featuring notes of sweet spice and nuts. Selected from two Cadboll harvests, this batch blends classic bourbon-matured Glenmorangie, known for its richness and creaminess, with a portion of Cadboll barley stock that has been finished in Amontillado casks for approximately a year. This finishing process introduces nutty, spicy, and sweet flavors, resulting in a beautifully integrated Glenmorangie 15 YO. A gently spicy mouthfeel leads into a burst of sweet and spicy flavours, including heather honey, gingerbread, hazelnut praline, fudge, toffee and a touch of clove.
