This is the fourth expression in the Glenfiddich Experimental series where Glenfiddich whiskies have been finished in sweet Somerset pomona casks. Somerset Pomona is a spirit made from a mix of juice and Somerset Cider Brandy, which is then matured in oak barrels for two years. Cask-finishing Glenfiddich in these casks delivers a fresh burst of orchard fruit flavour coupled with creamy toffee and caramlised apple.

With Cadboll Estate Batch 3, the essence and flavor of their cherished Highland home are shared. Crafted by their whisky creators from field to glass, the third batch of this single estate whisky is described as deep and creamy, featuring notes of sweet spice and nuts. Selected from two Cadboll harvests, this batch blends classic bourbon-matured Glenmorangie, known for its richness and creaminess, with a portion of Cadboll barley stock that has been finished in Amontillado casks for approximately a year. This finishing process introduces nutty, spicy, and sweet flavors, resulting in a beautifully integrated Glenmorangie 15 YO. A gently spicy mouthfeel leads into a burst of sweet and spicy flavours, including heather honey, gingerbread, hazelnut praline, fudge, toffee and a touch of clove. Nuttiness from the Amontillado cask is always present, while a lingering aftertaste has touches of marzipan, coconut and freshly baked fruit loaf.

Fortis, meaning ‘brave, bold’ is an Australian single malt whisky which celebrates local ingredients and the red wine barrel maturation Starward is known for. The first higher ABV release for Starward, Fortis is matured in 100% American Oak red wine barrels to give it a fuller and richer mouthfeel. A rich, full-bodied flavour balanced with the approachable velvety smoothness Starward whiskies are known for. Expect upfront notes of Madagascan vanilla pod and toasty oak. The palate is all chocolate ganache, cinnamon, quince and raisin with a lingering baking spiced finish.

Glenmorangie's A Tale Of Tokyo is the fourth release in the 'Tale of' series and the first one to be partially aged in Japanese Mizunara oak casks. It's actually a marriage of whisky aged in both sherry and bourbon barrels as well as Glenmorangie whisky aged in the rare Japanese wood. It was all bottled together at 46% ABV and sports a label and packaging made in collaboration with celebrated Japanese artist, Yamaguchi Akira. It's their perspective of the city's contrasts and layers of history and culture that inspired the design. The whisky fuses notes of pepper with bitter cherries and mouth-watering orange zest with incense and sweet oak – a unique and complex flavour profile resulting from the recipe of Mizunara oak, Bourbon and Sherry casks.
