Cape Jaffa The Aura Mount Benson Cabernet Franc
Cape Jaffa was a pioneer both in the Mt Benson region and in terms of its focus on biocynamics and sustainability. The first of the Mount Benson wineries,Cape Jaffa’s fully certified biodynamic vineyard provides 50% of production, with additional fruit sourced from a certified biodynamic grower in Wrattonbully. This is a lovely drop for warmer weather. As Shanteh Wale says in The Halliday Wine Companion, this is “made for drinking and good times. Serve slightly chilled" but it is not without complexity. "Blackberries, prune, plums and thistle. Picked oregano, margoram and green olive.”

Purple Duck Cabernet Sauvignon
We have known and worked with Sam Trimboli for decades, during which time he's made many of our biggest selling wines, and he's notched up a huge stack of medals for them too. Sam has loved ducks since he was a boy. His first pet was a little duck he led around on a leash like a puppy. He loves the symbolism of the duck: ducks are flexible (they swim, fly and walk), they’re loyal and love family (think mother ducks and their ducklings) and they’re very adaptable. He named his 'signature' Durif The Black Duck, and has so far added a White Duck and a Pink Duck to the rabge, making this Purple Duck the fourth member of a very popular family. We thinks it's going to prove itself a mighty duck indeed!

Mountadam Vineyards High Eden 'Milton' Cabernet
Located in High Eden, a sub-region of the Barossa, approximately 550 metres above sea level, Mountadam was originally established in 1972 by the late David Wynn for his winemaking son Adam. Since 2005, it has returned to being a family owned and run winery, with David and Jenni Brown overseeing its success. The wine is named after David’s father, Milton Brown. Traditionally known as the best Cabernet or Cabernet blend from the Estate the 2021 vintage saw this wine as a straight Cabernet Sauvignon due to the high quality of a single block. “Deep crimson and packed with bramble-edged blackberry, blackcurrant and black cherry fruits. Hints of brown spice, violets, briar, licorice, cedar, sage and vanilla bean. There's a lovely density with great tension between that High Eden mineral line and the ripe black fruits with fine, granite-dust tannins... that fruit weight is impressive. 95pts. Howards Nairne Vineyard is transitioning to a completely red site as a result of our unique microclimate.
Willow Bridge Coat of Arms Cabernet Sauvignon
Aromatic dark fruits of mulberry and black plum. A complex and layered palate of primary mulberry and blackberry supported by black olive and dark chocolate with the gentlest hint of toasty french oak. Estate grown from the spectacular hillside vineyard in the Ferguson Valley of the Geographe wine region, fruit is sourced predominately from the Blinman block which was planted in 1998. Soil is typically a deep layer of ironstone gravelly loam over red and yellow friable clay with slight westerly aspects at elevations of 220 to 250m above sea level. The Coat of Arms is an expression of the deep dark fruit characters we attain from the Ferguson region, rich and smooth with lashings of chocolate, entwined with secondary characters of oak and black olive. Winemaking technique enhances the aromatic and flavour profile of the varieties whilst maintaining a long fine tannin structure. Maturation adds further layers.
Taylors Heritage Release Clare Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
This limited-edition label, inspired by Taylors Wines very first release, celebrates both the heritage and the commitment of three generations of the Taylor family's dedication to making fine Australian wine. This wine shows ample varietal blackcurrant flavour seasoned with some attractive sweet oak. The tannins are firm but nicely in balance.
Lake Breeze Chapel Road Langhorne Creek Cabernet Sauvignon
Traditional open fermentation was employed followed by maturation in French oak barriques for 20 months, prior to bottling. The wine displays a lifted aromatics of black fruits and violets, along with some cedary oak nuances. The concentrated palate has a lovely silky texture, showing chocolate and cassis flavours and a wonderfully long finish.
