St Hugo Signature Collection Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 is medium crimson in colour with garnet hues. A floral violet and spice lift, with a delicate balance of dried herbs, raspberry, and blackcurrant fruit notes entwined with supportive integrated elevating oak on the nose. The palate is classical and varietal at its core. Varietally tannins that build complimented by a bright blackcurrant floral fruit spectrum, enhanced with subtle refined oak.

The Coat of Arms is an expression of the deep dark fruit characters we attain from the Ferguson region, rich and smooth with lashings of chocolate, entwined with secondary characters of oak and black olive. Winemaking technique enhances the aromatic and flavour profile of the varieties whilst maintaining a long fine tannin structure. Maturation adds further layers.

A pioneer of the Swan Valley region, Charles Ferguson was committed to developing the area along with the reputation of Houghton's. This Cabernet Malbec is the first release and is accumulating a list of gold medals the envy of most, including the Regional Trophy for best Australian red blend over £10 at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2011.

Round yet fine and detailed, this medium bodied wine is brimming with lovely fruit density. Notes of red current, cassis, black cherry, and plum lead the charge, supported by secondary notes of bay leaf, graphite, wet clay and chocolate.
