The wine is medium-bodied with flavours of raspberry and blueberry along with delicious white chocolate characters. The overall texture of this fruit-driven wine is sublimely soft and silky. It is a wonderfully easy to enjoy drop.

This wine is extremely fragrant, revealing aromas of fresh raspberries, maraschino cherries and peppery spices. The palate is medium bodied with flavours of juicy berries and soft tannins with exotic subtleties of pomogranate and rose. Matches perfectly well with slow cooked casseroles, stews and tomato-based dishes like spaghetti Bolognese.

Matured in vats and casks for 7 months. Dark red in colour with black shaded edges and a dark red hue. Lifted dark raspberry and liquorice aromas combine with vanillin oak, earth and spice. Juicy dark raspberry, liquorice and dark cherry fruits carry medium body weight over an earth and vanillin spice back drop. This pale pink Rosé has aromas of Fresh Strawberries with hints of juicy red cherries. Fresh juicy fruits continue on the palate with a hint of fresh cream.There is a lovely phenolic and acid balance that adds tension and mouthfeel giving the refreshing fruit flavours length.

The Butchers Block is a traditional Barossa blend made with grapes selected from the Turkey Flat vineyards, including some from the original old vine plantings. It is a blend of Shiraz, Grenache and Mourvédre (Mataro). 'Part of the grapes come from the home vineyard that has some of the oldest vines in the Barossa, planted by Peter Schulz's great-grandfather Ernest Schulz. The wine has the drive, focus and intensity often missing from this Barossa blend; that said, there are both black and distinctly red fruit components, and the tannins are firm.
