San Giorgio Brunello di Montalcino Ugolforte
Brunello Ugolforte was named after a local revolutionary that lead the forces against Siena in the 12th century. From the oldest vineyards, the wine is aged in barriques (30% new) for twelve months and then in larger Slavonian casks for three years. A rich full-bodied Brunello with dark berry fruit and spice.

This blend of 5% sangiovese, 15% malvasia nera and 10% cabernet is very dark carmine red. The wine explodes on the palate with hints of wild dark cherries and black currant with notes of spice and mediteranean herbs. This blend of 65% sangiovese, 25% cabernet and 10% Malvasia Nera reflects a dark ruby color. The nose is opulent and intense with a predominance of black fruits and spicy notes. Casanova Di Neri Cerretalto
Cerretalto is a single vineyard Brunello from one of the very best sites in the region. The wine is made only in exceptional years when the quality of fruit warrants. The best fruit from the site is hand harvested, sorted, destemmed and crushed before undergoing wild yeast fermentation in open vats. The temperature controlled fermentation lasts 3-4 weeks and then the wine is transferred to oak barrels for 31 months followed by a further 30 months in bottle. The wine is kept back in the winery for 6 years before release.
