These vines are over 140 years old! Hand picked and hand crafted, produced using century old techniques, this is a wine of true beauty, complexity and character. Only 2800 bottles produced.
Chateau Los Boldos Amalia Grand Cru
Amalia Grand Cru is created from vines up to 65 years old, and crafted only in remarkable years. This wine is made with a selection of outstanding grapes from our best lots in the Cachapoal Valley, contiguous to the Andes Mountains. The vineyard has alluvial soils, derived from the Cachapoal river and layered through with ancient silt loam and stony soils. This is an elegant blend with depth, complexity and structure that we recommend to decant for at least 30 minutes before consumption. VARIETAL COMPOSITION 47% SYRAH, 40% MERLOT & 13% CABERNET SAUVIGNON Ageing - Malolactic Fermentation: New french oak barrels Ageing Process: 6 Months in new french oak barrels and 18 months in bottle. Tasting Notes Deep dark rubi red, brilliant with purple sides. Ripe red fruit aromas such as black cherry and strowberry, slighly spicy with notes that reminds black trufles and chocolate, a bit mineral with cedar and tobaco notes at the end due to its aging process in french oak. Wide, smooth, silky and elegant. Fresh with vibrant mineral acidity from the stony soils of Cachapoal Andes Valley. Vertical wine, persistent with round and ripe tannins in good balance. Long finish with oak well integrated. Cellaring and Food Pairing Wine with a good concentration and elegant, silky tannins. Ideal for food pairing with slow cooked red meat like beef, lamb and wild boar ragu; charcuterie, prosciutto and ripe cheeses like gorgonzola, blue cheese and camembert. Suggestions: Braised lamb shank with rosemary and rustic mashed potatoes. Beef bourguignon. Wild boar chops over mashed peas in balsamic reduction with alfalfa sprouts. Serve at 15-17 °C Cellaring Up to 15 years in a fresh, ventilated and humid place. Temp. Not less than 10ºC Or 50 ºF, not more than 18 ºC Or 64 ºF. Penfolds Grange
Unmistakably, Grange, this 2012 vintage is complex, flamboyant and lifted. An aromatic multi-cultural characteristics. The earthiness is well integrated with the aromas of dark fruits, grounded coffee, red liquorice and black olives, which leads to a firmly structured finish.
St Hallett Old Block Shiraz

Kaesler Old Bastard Shiraz
A full and fruity Shiraz, Kaesler Old Bastard is fresh on the nose with hints of blackberries, raspberries and blueberries. On the palate, forest fruits, blackberry and mulberry mingle with spices of anise and nutmeg with some coffee and chocolate notes. Tannins are silky and balanced, with a nice acidity. This shiraz will cellar for 20+ years.

Mount Langi Ghiran Shiraz is rightfully considered by many to be Australia's best cool-climate Shiraz. Nestled in western Victoria, right in the heart of the Grampians wine region, Langi Shiraz is a classic, true to type wine that Dan Buckle has handcrafted. A sensuous Shiraz that displays exotic aromas and flavours of spice, savouriness and that trademark pepper character. Red berry fruit is not to be forgotten here and after a good decant, is more than suitable to be enjoyed from today onwards.
Penfolds St Henri Shiraz
Proudly, a wine style that hasn’t succumbed to the dictates of fashion or commerce. St Henri is rich and plush when young, gaining soft, earthy, mocha-like characters as it ages. It is matured in old, 1,460 litre vats that allow the wine to develop, imparting minimal, if any oak character. Although a small proportion of Cabernet is sometimes used to improve structure, the focal point for St Henri remains Shiraz.

Henschke Mount Edelstone is one of the most important single vineyard sites in Australia. The 90 year old vines has been producing a single vineyard Shiraz since 1952 and is one of Australia's truly great wines. The nose has sweet ripe plum and blueberry aromas and the palate is intense and deeply flavoured. While enjoyable upon release, this is a wine that will enjoy a decade or more in the cellar.
