Don Aldo Olivier Pedro Ximénez Chardonnay
New Zealand Chardonnay Super Six
This elegant trio of fine Kiwi Chardonnays from three premium regions, includes a mature, extremely well-balanced 2014, of serious weight kept fresh by excellent acidity. This 'secret' release is not only from New Zealand's premium Hawke's Bay region, but vineyards very close to some of the region's finest estates. It's joined by a 92pt "Beautifully fruited and inviting..." star from Gisborne, and a 91pt Marlborough beauty rated from the esteemed estate of Jane Hunter, whose string of accolades for her work, includes an OBE and Companion of the NZ Order of Merit for viticulture. This lovely estate Chardonnay was given a ranking of 'EXCLELLENT' by Mark Henderson, in the Otago Daily Times, July 2024 who praised its: "Fresh & inviting nose, peach and stonefruit notes lead, a touch of toffee/caramel and a light seasoning of oak that lets the fruit shine. Creamy palate entry, again the fruit nicely to the fore, fresh acidity supporting thewhole without dominating, that wisp of toffee making an appearance too. Supple, refreshing, nicely done."

Tassie Chardonnay Super Six
Tasmanian Chardonnay rarely leaves the state. Today we have a lovely trio for you. Included here is a Trophy-winning, Gold, 95pt elegant, complex Chardonnay of peach, melon and subtle oak from fruit sourced in the cold climate of Tasmania’s Tamar Valley. Crafted by fifth generation winemaker, Richard Angove, the “Stylish and complex… beautifully pitched …" (Wine Orbit) Milestone 140 from Ponting Wines and we are very proud to have a fresh and elegant white exclusive from the estate of Josef Chromy. It takes its name from the source of its premium fruit – the Marchington Vineyard, planted on the Marchington estate, by a man called John Smith, the alleged illegitimate son of a King of England, shipped to Tasmania in the 1800s. Don’t miss this exceptional line-up.
