At 11 years old and showing some intriguing aged character the fruit is remarkably vibrant still, and it has just won a Gold medal. Aromas are still lively and creamy with citrus, stone fruit and almond flavours, and those, plus notes of tangerine, flow through to the palate, which is luxuriously weighty and well rounded. It's buttery yet a bright acidity keeps it fresh through to a lengthy finish with a hint of grapefruit pith.
