Chardonnay

Domaine Régis Fèvre Petit Chablis

Domaine Régis Fèvre is a small estate in Fyé, the village where Bernard Dampt first started his family estate. When it came up for sale in 2017, brothers Emannuel and Eric Dampt jumped at the chance of expanding their domaine with some exceptionally fine vineyards from their neighbour. That included Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards, as well as vines over 70 years old for their ‘standard’ Chablis and Petit Chablis. From vines just above Grand Cru Les Clos, this Petit Chablis shows lovely intensity, freshness and poise. It’s from a rare vintage that offered both quality and quantity. Serve cool in large-bowled glasses, a third full, and pair with fine seafood, such as salmon en croute, with white meats or creamy-filled choux pastry.

Invivo Hawkes Bay Chardonnay

Fresh and vibrant Hawke’s Bay Chardonnay from Invivo’s Rob Cameron. For winemaker and co-founder Rob Cameron, the Invivo range is all about taking some of the elegance from the old world and putting that style into our amazing grapes, all the while offering wines that are fun and a bit unique. Rob has a colourful winemaking background – learning his craft in unique destinations such as Cyprus, Bulgaria and Hungary before moving on to France, Spain and Italy. He learnt skills (and some wild stories) from these places that few could compare.

Taylors Jaraman Clare Valley Chardonnay

Julien Bouchard Petit Chablis

For 50 years Julien Bouchard dedicated himself to making some of the finest wines in Burgundy. In 1955, without anyone to leave his winery and vineyards to, he chose Albert Bichot to continue his legacy. A wise choice – Bichot has been rated Burgundy’s best producer of both the region's red and white wines and a number of their releases have become great favourites with our customers. This is their classic Petit Chablis– Chardonnay grown on brown limestone soil, rather than the Chablis’s kimmeridgian clay, lending intense citrusy fruit and a bright minerality, with lees ageing for extra roundness. Crisp and well balanced, it’s best served cellar cool, with white meat dishes – creamy chicken pie or pork casserole – or panfried salmon.

Allegiance Wines Bowrider Chardonnay

Sip and delight in a Gold and Double Gold-winning Chardonnay from the impressive Allegiance Wines. This is elegant and rich with harmoniously, integrated subtle oak characters, and flavours of peach, nectarine and rockmelon flow through to a balanced, delicate finish. The Bowrider range is named for the habits of dolphins who effortlessly surf in the wake of boats. It's a picturesque image – and a thoroughly relaxing and charming thing to experience. Rather like the wine. Dive on in!
