Founded by James Halliday, Yarra Valley's Coldstream Hills winery has a reputation for producing quality wine. Their Chardonnay exhibits attractive regional characters of stone-fruit and citrus. An ideal accompaniment to white meat and pasta dishes.

Under the winemaking direction of Michael Brajkovich, MW, the village label is the first tier in the Kumeu River portfolio. From vineyards around the Kumeu area, it is a wild yeast ferment Chardonnay with 100% whole bunch pressing and malo. One third is barrel fermented and the whole package seeks to highlight the white peach and flintiness that makes the area famous.

This excellent expression of Chardonnay, partly due to only limited time in oak, is light, fresh and zesty but with inherent complexity. Pale straw in colour, this wine exhibits lifted nectarine and white blossom characters with underlying minerality and depth. The palate is clean and lively with tremendous depth of ripe stone-fruit flavour nuanced by cashew notes. A refreshing backbone of natural grape acidity provides further structure and length.

From one of Australia's oldest wine regions, the Hunter Valley. This chardonnay shows why it has become the most grown grape in the region. Subtle Aromas of vanillan oak with a hint of pear. A rich fruit palate combined with creamy texture from the oak, peaches linger in the clean finish.

A true expression of Chardonnay grown at Lyndoch in the Barossa Valley in all its fruitful glory. Intense bouquet is pleasantly fruity with highlights of green pear and clingstone peach accented by the flowery notes of apple blossom against a genteel boisé background. The palate is a rush of citrus and white peach with fresh acidity. Clean, lemon-citrus and Pink Lady apples with a layer of minerality and viscosity. Paracombe Chardonnay is a pale straw hued wine displaying light green tints. The attractive bouquet exudes mesmerising scents of fig and lemon soufflé, with light suggestions of minerality. The palate is delicate and structured, brimming with fresh flavours of peach, melon and creamy apple. These beautiful characters are supported by natural acidity, culminating the wine in a long, balanced and stylish finale. This wonderful Chardonnay tastes marvellous with crab cakes, pizza margherita and bay scallop chowder.

An excellent food wine, it matches well with just about any foods you might match a dry white wine to, but fresh white seafood dishes (white fish, squid, prawns & crabs) are perhaps the best accompaniment to this wine.

A small amount of fermentation in oak has lent The Full Fifteen Chardonnay lovely toasty nuances, a nutty complexity and a soft creamy character.
