Chateau Clos Haut-Peyraguey 1er cru classe
Few places seem to posses the divinely ordained right to produce Bordeaux’s other iconic export, Sauternes, quite like Clos Haut-Peyaguey. Across 12 hectares of plateau-topping Premier Cru Classé vineyard, Semillon (and a smidge of Sauvignon) grapes patiently wait out summer for the noble rot to set in. We’re talking about botrytis, of course. Once it does, the sweetest grapes are handpicked for vinification before being sent for a French oak siesta. The result is one of the world’s most revered sweet white wines. Unctuous and syrypy; floral and fruity; jammy and spicy: trés magnifique!

CHATEAU SUDUIRAUT 1ER CRU CLASSE, SAUTERNES
The dried-mango and pineapple character is so delicious in this wine. It’s full-bodied and medium-sweet, with a pretty density and a fruity finish. Wonderful balance to this super Sauternes. This is a little in reserve now, with so much for the future.
Chateau dYquem 1er Cru Superieur Sauternes Sauvignon Blanc Semillion
Intense aromas of crème brûlée, dried pineapple, and botrytis-kissed apricot fill the senses, accented by a hint of vanilla and blossom. The taste is profoundly rich and full-bodied, yet exquisitely fresh, delivering layers of honeyed pear, sweet spices, and a mineral complexity that extends into a seemingly endless, harmonious finish.
Claude Riffault Sancerre Les Denisottes
The Claude Riffault Sancerre Les Denisottes 2022 is a standout example of the renowned Sauvignon Blanc grape from the Loire Valley in France. With a pale straw colour, this wine immediately entices the senses with its vibrant aromas of fresh citrus, green apple, and a hint of mineral notes. On the palate, the wine delivers a crisp and refreshing experience with flavours of zesty lemon, tart grapefruit, and a subtle herbaceousness. The 2022 vintage has a great balance of acidity and a touch of creaminess, making it a perfect pairing for seafood dishes or as an aperitif. The finish is long and clean, leaving a lingering sensation of ripe fruit and a touch of flint. As with all Claude Riffault wines, this Sancerre Les Denisottes 2022 is a true expression of the terroir and a testament to the winemaker's skill and dedication.
