The Noble One by De Bortoli is considered Australia's premier dessert wine, and for obvious reasons. The 2002 Noble One is a classic expression of the style with rich apricot treacle characters with fig and orange blossom still active on the nose and palate. Drinking nicely now, but with further careful cellaring it will develop the creamy & toasty characters, for which Hunter Semillon is revered.

Tyrrell's Vat 1 Semillon is one of Australia's great white wines and has the capacity to age superbly in the bottle.
