Early Harvest wines are created from selected parcels of flavour ripe grapes harvested from early ripening regions in South Eastern Australia. This fruit, coupled with careful winemaking, creates a uniquely refreshing wine which is at least 25% lighter in alcohol and calories. The fresh fruit flavours of Semillon and cut grass and lychee flavours of Sauvignon Blanc are balanced by the crisp dry finish, providing an easy drinking style of wine.

The Honeybomb Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is a punchy and textural expression of a Margaret River SSB. It is very much in the Devil's Lair playground, experimenting with a small percentage of oak and lees work to add complexity whilst respecting varietal aromatics and purity. Defined by a mineral edge (quartz comes to mind) and muddled lime with a zesty line and salivating acidity layered with elements of starfruit and nashi pear like texture captured from a small barrel ferment component.Devil’s Lair senior winemaker Ben Miller’s enthusiasm for wine is extraordinary. Growing up in the Hunter Valley, he was encouraged to be adventurous, curious and hard working. It was playing rugby in many of the world’s winemaking regions, travelling and working through New Zealand, France, Spain, Portugal, US, Italy, Coonawarra, McLaren Vale and Margaret River that sparked a further love of wine. He’s now settled in Margaret River where he has the 'opportunity to work on the land and create something that speaks of its place'.

A nice drop from Mudgee in NSW, Logan Apple Tree Flat Sauvignon Semillon Blanc is clean and fresh, with plenty of nice citrus and nut flavours. Offering terrific value for money, this is a great summer wine that you can enjoy with seafood or a light creamy pasta.

Grown on the Bunnamagoo vineyards in Mudgee and held in French oak for nine months and stirred often to aid the final texture. The result is a wine that shows notes of grass and lemon with a complex hint of dough. The flavours continue on the textured palate with fine acidity and good length.

The making of Dragonfly Sauvignon Blanc Semillon centres on capturing the fresh and alluring tropical and seasonal fruit flavours from the region. A minute portion is fermented in French oak barriques to add a layer of intrigue to the wine. Enticing aromatics of passionfruit, tropical notes, kiwi fruit and lime zest. The palate is crisp and refreshing, having a depth of flavour, tropical spectrum, and a long fine finish.

"This has been a distinctive and complex style from Willow Bridge over a number of years, and this one, from a very good vintage, is as good as I have seen. Made traditionally with whole bunch pressing, wild fermentation, and then three months in French oak. It adds texture and complexity, but in this case, it's certainly not overdone. The vibrant fruit characters of these two varieties still emerge. Slightly smoky, lemon zest notes on the nose, and a palate that's rich and textured with excellent length. Mike Bennie gives it 91pts, writing in The Halliday Wine Companion: "The barrel seasoning works a treat here, layering in ginger biscuit, cinnamon toast and creamy nougat notes on the more expected sweet citrus, light tropical fruit punch notes of the two varieties. There's a little chalkiness to texture, a brightness of saline minerality in there, too. Grapes for the Bunnamagoo wines are sourced from the Bunnamagoo Estate near Rockley, and from the Eurunderee vineyard, not far from Mudgee, NSW.Vibrant pale lemon. Light and crisp grapefruit and lime, white peach and dried pear, in a youthful and appealing style, with limey acidity and touches of white pepper to finish.
