The grapes for our 2016 Showy Willow Sauvignon Blanc come from a small vineyard at the top of Willunga Hill in the Adelaide Hills. The fruit was hand pick and progressively transported to our winemaker in McLaren for crushing and fermentation. Russian Jack comes from vineyards that deliver lusciously ripe, juicy grapes for this wine. Long ago this land, like much of the region, was covered in scrub but thanks to the back-breaking work of men known at the time as swaggers, the land was cleared and prepared for use.
