Their work in the field of alternative, particularly southern Italian, varietals has contributed a lot to the growth and success of this movement in recent years. This Fiano melds delicate stone fruits and almond blossom with savoury lees contact characters and minerality, displaying texture and power in the mouth whilst retaining a fine, fresh finish.

High-quality wine, nectarine and white peach driving the initial impetus, grapefruit and acidity the finish; controlled barrel ferment oak the clincher.

Lark Hill sits high a top the Canberra District wine region, some 840m above sea level. This altitude allows their fragrant aromatic whites to truly sing. The Riesling is brilliantly restrained which can be tasted in the overt mineral nature of the wine. Lively citrus blossom with white flowers can also be seen.

This Fiano is intensely flavoured and aromatic. The nose is of home grown apricots, lifted with hints of florals, citrus and nectarine. Firm acid frames the fruit giving presence and depth. Chalky minerality is underlain with a dash of honey and spice to finish. A beautiful bright and textural wine, with great length. This Fiano matches well with Italian dishes and seafood.

In the glass: Full deep red. On the nose: Delicate redcurrant, plum, cedar and a light leafy lift. On the palate: Textured with a medium weight core of dark fruit, elegant line and touches of coffee, cherry and savoury oak.

As featured on "Battle of the Vines": Arthur puts up what he says is a bombshell from a boutique winery. He goes on to describe it as a Rich and powerful Marsanne from a great winemaker, Alex McKay. Its fresh on the nose with aromas of white flowers, flint and notes of quince and exotic spice.

The 2017 Primitivo is from our original plantings of Primitivo planted in 1996. These vines were taken from cuttings at Cape Mentelle. The vines now resemble a bush vine and with lots of hand thinning and trimming we are able to nurture this difficult variety into this lovely wine.

It features explosive aromas of citrus and nuts withintriguing flower notes.Thanks to the Appassimento method, the body is veryfull with huge complexity and tropical fruit flavours. A crisp acidity and a great texture make a pleasant finish.Pairs well with grilled fish and spicy Asiandishes.
