Dalrymple Vineyards was established in 1987. Situated in the heart of the Pipers River region of north-eastern Tasmania, almost equidistant from Launceston, Scottsdale and George Town. This Single Site Pinot Noir comes from the Coal River Valley, just outside Hobart.

With fruit from vineyards on either side of the Tamar Valley, this wine shows why everyone is mad for Tasmania Pinot Noir. Deeply coloured and with a heady perfume of flowers and dark cherries, it has concentrated berry fruit flavours with satisfying charry oak, velvety tannin and a long finish.

Intense aromas of ripe citrus lemon and stone fruit with a hint of toasty oak interwoven with a rich and savoury palate that is complex, textural with a juicy finish. Mumm 4 is a striking, modern reinterpretation of the champagne maturation process breaking all the traditional codes associated with champagne. This mature wine is clearly labelled to show the number of years spent on the lees rather than any specific vintage year. The look: Exuberant bubbles with reflections of gold, showing discrete maturity. The aromas: Complex ripe aromas of yellow and white fruit, peach marmalade and buttercream alight entice. The taste: Fresh, lively and rounded, yet with a tension that plays right through to the finish. Established in 1836, Madame Pommery is credited with creating the first vintage brut style of Champagne in 1874, at a time when most champagnes were excessively sweetened with sugar.
