Established in 1982 and run by second generation Ed Tomlinson, this fruit driven, medium bodied wine has notes of ripe black fruits and finishes with perfect length and a wonderful texture.

Deep crimson red of good intensity and vibrant hue. Intense berry fruits, cassis and chocolate mint characters notes with background cedar like oak. Medium bodied, this wine shows a vibrant and lively fruit driven palate with a fleshy middle and soft mature ripe tannin. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes from the Hay Shed Hill vineyard were harvested and de-stemmed into open topped vessels for fermentation on skins with traditional pump-over cap management to aid colour and flavour extraction. The wine was matured in French oak barrels for 13 months allowing integration of fine oak and development of the soft ripe tannin The Hay Shed Hill vineyard is situated on a picturesque property that was established as a group settlement farm for returned soldiers from the First World War. Known as Sussex Vale the property was originally a dairy farm. The current homestead, considerably renovated, still has much of the original Group Settlement look and feel. Vines were first planted in the early 1970s. In the late 1980s the vineyard was bought by the Morrison Family and the wine brand Hay Shed Hill was established taking its name from the local reference to the hay shed located on the property. The sister label, Pitchfork, was developed to complement the single vineyard Hay Shed Hill label. A series of ownership changes saw numerous alterations to labels, wine style and distribution until the current group of partners bought back the farm and the brand in late 2006 and returned to the original concept of producing wine with integrity that expresses the quality of the site.

Xanadu Fusion Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits vibrant, characteristic aromas of ripe blackcurrants, dark berry fruits, and black plums entwined with savoury hints of bay leaf and spicy, toasty oak. The full-bodied palate is packed full of juicy fruits of the forest, cassis and mocha flavours. A generous wine, with a solid tannin structure and fleshy fruit characters which persist through to a warm, lingering finish.

Margaret River Cabernet aromas of dark berries, chocolate and mint are evident as you nose this wine. The palate has attractive, fleshy fruit framed by ripe tannins. A lovely drink now style.

Crafted by Daniel Chaffey Hartwig and Theo Engela, this wine was fermented in a six tonne open fermenter with seven days skin contact and twice daily pump-overs. Matured in shaved, seasoned French oak hogsheads for 11 months. Howard Park Miamup Rosé is crafted from 55% Shiraz and 45% Pinot Noir. The ripe grapes used to produce Credaro 5 Tales Shiraz were destemmed, moved to static tanks, and immediately inoculated with a yeast strain. The resulting wine shows a lively crimson red colour, and exudes lifted aromas of mulberries, sweet vanilla and mocha hints from its mesmerising nose. These fragrances make way for a soft palate offering cherry and dark plum flavours. Balanced by fine tannins, the juicy palate culminates in a finale marked by creamy oak nuances. This intense red wine can be cellared for 5 to 8 years from vintage to develop bottle aged flavours. Drink it with sausage rolls, beef and quince stew, or chocolate pavlova to appreciate its intense berry flavours to the fullest.
