Fighting Gully Road Reserve Syrah
pen-fermented, 35% whole bunches, 2% viognier skins. Matured in 600L thick staved demi-muids. The bones are strong, the flavours are fine. There's nothing brutish about this wine, it's not rocket-propelled, and yet it pushes firmly for the stars. It tastes of graphite and black coffee, black cherries and white pepper, though what you really notice here is the wine's supple, spicy insistence and its fine web of tannin. This wine is going places.

Andrew Peace Wines Full Moon Durif
It was a balmy warm evening in late summer and the moon was revealing its presence. Andrew rings! Hey, George, the moon is really big and low tonight, can you go out and take a photo? It looks huge. Im looking at it from the west side over the top of the vinesA dark deep red colour incorporating intense fruity notes of mulberries and cherry. A touch of white pepper spice and a hint of violet. A generous length paired with chalky tannins.
Apostles Wines Saltbush Durif
During the 1920's, Clydesdale horses were used to distribute water from the main canal to the surrounding landscape of the Riverina. Stables were placed on the corner of Apostles and Moon Roads and at night the Apostles birds would roost in the stables, sharing the horses' food and bed for the evening. Today the Apostles Wines Estate is nestled here and the canal is still the region's lifeline. Our wonderful Durif grapes thrive here, surrounded by native Saltbush. It marries well with Osso Bucco, rich cheeses, steak or a Sunday roast.
