Noilly Prat is the most famous of all Vermouths, a dry, straw-hued vermouth from Marseillan, in the Hérault département of southern France. Joseph Noilly, an herbalist, developed the first formula in 1813. It was the first example of a dry vermouth and is among the golden, straw and white vermouths generally known as "French Vermouth".

A wine-based aperitif, Byrrh has the specific characteristic of being flavoured with quinine. Its alcohol content is 18°. The basic grapes, mainly the Carignan and Grenache varieties from the hillsides of Roussillon, are transformed into mistelles (partly fermented grape juice), which are then blended with selected dry red Roussillon wines. Byrrh is drunk as an aperitif. It is best served cool, at approximately 16°, and goes well with a twist of lemon zest or a little Crème de Cassis.

The belnd of rich blackcurrant, bramble and gentle pepper make this a very distinctive wine. Vanilla from the oak is subtle and the tannins are softer than most other cabernets. Silky and satisfying.

Aromas : Complex, warm, subtly woody flavours with a very smooth palate. Colour : Golden amber. Suggestion : For an aperitif, to drink neat, on the rocks, or in your favourite cocktail.

Vermouth Routin Original Rouge (sweet) is made with a perfect blend of 24 herbs and spices that are macerated for several weeks in wine made from Jacquère, a grape variety local to the Savoie region. To the resulting infusion, we add Sauvignon blanc.The entire blend is then added to oak wine barrels to rest for six months.
