Aaron Mercer's new self-named venture is going from strength to strength, and is delivering some exceptional wines from across NSW.Pale lemon. Citrus, stonefruit and hints of almond bread. Restrained and light-bodied with a fresh mix of peach, pear and lime zest, refreshing acidity, zippy mouthfeel and hints of glazed ginger on the dry finish. An uncomplicated early-drinker.

A different expression altogether sans the benefit of bottle age. Youthful. Zesty. Punchy. As filigreed of talcy acidity and fine boned as the rest of the crew, this is guava, lemon grass and sherbet, teeming along a line of candied citrus chew. This classic Hunter Semillon offers a lively citrus and talc-infused nose, with refreshing grapefruit and minerality on the palate. Its zesty acidity harmonises with the distinct mineral core, creating an elegant and refreshing wine that epitomises the Hunter Valley's winemaking tradition in every sip.

An elegant wine displaying stone and orchard fruit flavours melded to a core of cashew and fig, all balanced by a seam of fresh acidity. 50% of the wine was fermented and matured in a combination of new and 1 year old French Hogsheads with partial malolactic fermentation, giving texture and complexity, the rest in stainless steel, to retain freshness.

The Army Block Semillon is an isolated parcel from the renowned Black Cluster Vineyard and handpicked to minimise skin contact and preserve the fresh, delicate flavours of the variety. The palate displays an elegant mineral line with refreshing and crisp pine/lime flavours. Excellent whilst young or will develop very rewarding toasty, honey characters with careful long-term cellaring up to 10 years.

An early ripening grape perfectly suited to the warm climate of the lower Hunter Valley. The small berries retain their acidity and produce fragrant white wines with intense flavour. the cool 2022 vintage has produced a beautifully aromatic wine with tropical fruit and refreshing natural acidity.

This Chardonnay delights with a vibrant interplay of citrus and nectarine notes, subtly kissed by French oak. The natural acidity contributes to its remarkable length and driving energy, leading to a delightful finale of vanilla pannacotta and hazelnuts
