Miracle on the Wire refers to the tiny bunches of grapes that form on our vines each year, as well as to the sighting of the Blue Wren perched up on the wires of our Zeal’s Vineyard, as this is usually a sign of coming rain and good fortune. Located in the Central Ranges this extensive vineyard is Certified organic, and adopts natural, sustainable, farming practices to ensure vigorous growth of the grapevines. This is a wine of beautiful balance and vibrancy. Displaying pear, apple and citrus fruit flavours that are clean and crisp on the palate. Not many people know how to pronounce Gewurztraminer, but we love to make and drink it. Our small block of traminer provided us with great fruit this year and the wine displays typical characteristics of Lychee and Turkish Delight. Very refreshing, with a lashing of sweetness and crisp acidity, this wine is great with any spicy food.

Delicate rose petal pink with a powerful punch of that Moscato aroma with its ripe peach, nectarine and orange aromas. In your mouth the fizz makes these flavours explode leaving your taste buds very satisfied. Until you find yourself reaching out for another sip to enjoy it all again.

Another multi regional wine from Peppertree, the Chardonnay is a blend of Hunter Valley 50%, Wrattonbully 35% and Orange 15%. The three regions make up a wine that shows lifted aromas of white peach and pineapple, a generously fruit driven palate packed with ripe fruits balanced well by subtle barrel ferment complexity, providing a long refined finish.
