Not many people know how to pronounce Gewurztraminer, but we love to make and drink it. Our small block of traminer provided us with great fruit this year and the wine displays typical characteristics of Lychee and Turkish Delight. Very refreshing, with a lashing of sweetness and crisp acidity, this wine is great with any spicy food.

Delicate rose petal pink with a powerful punch of that Moscato aroma with its ripe peach, nectarine and orange aromas. In your mouth the fizz makes these flavours explode leaving your taste buds very satisfied. Until you find yourself reaching out for another sip to enjoy it all again.

Wild Oats Pinot Grigio is deliciously easy to drink : crisp and light, with an appealing spic y aroma, with fresh lemon and pear notes and a pleasing mouthfeel. From Oatley family vineyards, this is brilliant with Asian salads and deep -fried seafood.

Robert Stein Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 shows a brick red colour, exhibiting fresh aromas of black cherry and olives from its bouquet. Finely integrated French oak infuses flavours of cassis and spicy berry fruit into the full-bodied yet delicate palate. A low alcohol wine, it is suitable for consumption upon release or can be cellared for a period of 6 to 8 years. Possible food matches with this delicious red wine include grilled steak, Asian BBQ lamb ribs, meatballs and port wine braised beef short ribs.

The Gardener is pale straw yellow with a slight green hue. The nose is vibrant. An elegant yet generous wine, it displays lifted nashi pear, nectarine and citrus with a spicy backbone. There is a lovely texture to the palate without taking away from the freshness and purity of the fruit.

Soft lemon with hints of green apple, lemon, guava and grapefruit aromas. Palate shows a fresh mix of apple and citrus providing good depth of flavour and a biscuity finish. Citrussy and crisp with a zesty finish.

Miracle on the Wire refers to the tiny bunches of grapes that form on our vines each year, as well as to the sighting of the Blue Wren perched up on the wires of our Zeal’s Vineyard, as this is usually a sign of coming rain and good fortune.
