The grapes used to craft The Katana Chardonnay were handpicked, chilled overnight, and whole bunch pressed. The juice was rough settled, and transferred to French oak barriques for fermentation. This process led to the creation of a pale straw coloured wine with golden yellow highlights along the edges. This wonderful Chardonnay presents a supple core of citrus blossom and white stone fruit characters, enhanced by mineral notes. The juicy palate contains flavours of bright fruits and French oak supported by crisp acidity, ending in a lively and captivating climax. This alluring white wine can be enjoyed within 5 years from vintage. Drink it with potato soup, roasted vegetable pizza, and chorizo and sweet potato risotto.

This attractive Sauvignon Blanc is pale lemon in colour with aromas of ripe tropical fruit and freshly cut grass. The palate displays racy acidity with great intensity of fruit flavour and a long persistent finish.

Brothers David and Matthew Lloyd’s grandfather started planting vines and making wine in McLaren Vale in the 1960’s. David and Matthew continue the family tradition today, with individual vineyards in the Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale. Their McLaren Vale estate is also home to an impressive olive grove, planted by an English pioneer in the 1800s, then grafted over to Kalamata olives in the 1960s. Sidewood Pinot Gris is sourced from selected rows from their 300 acre estate in the Adelaide Hills. This cool climate, estate grown wine shows a fresh nose and palate of crisp apples, nashi pear and citrus. With a smooth, almost silk like texture, this excellent Gris has brilliant natural acidity and a length and character that will allow the wine to age wonderfully.

Geoff Weaver Sauvignon Blanc from the Adelaide Hills is quite possible the region's best example of this aromatic variety. The bouquet shows lifted varietal characters of green pea and passionfruit and the palate is textured and long.
