Brothers David and Matthew Lloyd’s grandfather started planting vines and making wine in McLaren Vale in the 1960’s. David and Matthew continue the family tradition today, with individual vineyards in the Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale. Their McLaren Vale estate is also home to an impressive olive grove, planted by an English pioneer in the 1800s, then grafted over to Kalamata olives in the 1960s. This Sauvignon Blanc from Paracombe in South Australia's Adelaide Hills is a beautiful wine with long lasting flavours. Aromas of passionfruit and tropicals with fresh pure flavours of gooseberry, and zesty, mineral notes for a clean lingering finish.

Sourced from vineyards in the premium Adelaide Hills wine growing region, the Sauv Blanc shows a bursts of attractive tropical fruit and a delightfully crisp acidity that gives the wine a lingering, yet refreshing, finish.

This wine is pale yellow in colour with a light green hue. This is an off-dry style wine, giving off initial aromas of lime, tangy lemon verbena, nectarine and apple lemon, coupled with traces of musk and roses. It is an intricate mix of fruit passion, acidity, sweetness and alcohol where each attribute is in harmony with the other, resulting in a wine with personality and charm. Delicious lime and passion fruit flavours gently run through the palate ending fresh and almost dry due to the acidity, which balances the grape-derived sweetness. A food-friendly ally, this may be taken with the not too spicy Asian cuisine, fresh salads, hard cheese or simple seafood. On its own, it can be enjoyed as a chilled aperitif.

Grant Burge East Argyle Pinot Gris is a pale yellow coloured wine which is highlighted by greenish tinges throughout. Its appealing bouquet gives off fragrances of sweet and spicy pears, vanilla ice cream and baked cheesecake, infused with subtle nuances of cinnamon and nutmeg. The rich and textured palate is packed with apricot, peach and pear flavours that end in a clean, lengthy and flavoursome climax. This magnificent Pinot Gris can either be consumed upon release or be cellared for a few years to enhance depth and flavour. Fish, fresh vegetables, crabs and shellfish go hand in hand with this excellent wine.

The grapes for our 2016 Showy Willow Sauvignon Blanc come from a small vineyard at the top of Willunga Hill in the Adelaide Hills. The fruit was hand pick and progressively transported to our winemaker in McLaren for crushing and fermentation. Aromas This is a pale yellow-green wine presenting intensely tropical aromas with passionfruit and pineapple leading to a rich full palate.
