A sophisticated sparkling wine with intensity, complexity and vibrancy revealing a pinot noir dominated blend, with tasting notes adding complex aromas of warm spices and red berries balanced by delicate acidity, resulting in a refined wine with powerful length.
Kreglinger Brut
A plentiful mousse sits atop a pale straw base that has gold tinged edges and a fine persistent bead. Toasty yeast lees scents are intermeshed with baked bread, citrus, light honeyed notes and traces of nut. The palate is tense and sculptured with racy acidity running through toast, subtly honeyed pear, yeast lees and roasted nut flavours. Dry crisp finish with a long aftertaste that builds a sense of creaminess as it lingers. Drink over the next 2-3 years. Alc. 12.5%

Ironhouse Vineyards White Sands Sparkling Rosé

Upon release this Sept 2021, we find that a displayed colour of pale salmon and peach compliment the presence of red apple and baked pastry aromas which seamlessly flow onto a crisp and fresh palate of sweetened fruit and Turkish delight. Perfect as an aperitif, an afternoon with friends or paired with subtle seafood dishes. Predominately, our signle plot vineyard Pinot grape is used here with a touch of Chardonnay to bring a subtle nuance of flavours ripe for Australian summers. Grown & produced at our Ocean facing vineyard which rests under the watchful gaze of Paddy's Head nature reserve on Tasmania's pristine East Coast, the terroir of the region and natural amphitheatre are quintessential for growing our colder climate grapes which we find perfectly reflected here. This richly flavoured cuvée made from Chardonnay and Pinot noir by Pirie boasts complexity from barrel-aged base wine and reserve blending. It displays the impact of terroir and the favourable interaction of climate and soil on these vines.
Pirie Sparkling
Northern Tasmania is widely known for the quality of sparkling wine produced in the cool climate region, with the first 1995 vintage of Pirie doing much to establish this reputation. Now a new chapter is born with Pirie NV Sparkling - A full flavoured cuvýe from a blend of chardonnay and pinot noir, boasting complexity and freshness. A vibrant lemony acidity with a full and rich mid-palate leads to slaty, mineral finish.
