Manjimup has been home to the Macedonian-born Peos family for more than 90 years. With viticulture in their historical veins, brothers Vic, John, Kon and Chris banded together in 1996 to create their dream vineyard as a legacy to their late father, Jim Peos, and late grandfather, P.Y. Peos. The Four Kings range is named after the four Peos brothers. The Peos brothers work hard to keep family traditions alive and ensure Peos Estate follows the customs that were passed down by their late father and grandfather. One of these traditions is the philosophy of minimal intervention, which allows the wine to be produced in the most natural way. This ensures the regional and varietal characters of the grapes are captured and retained in all Peos wines.

Machine harvested at night , crushed and de-stemmed, pressed to French oak (25% new and the balance in staves) for 12 months. This is classic cooler climate Shiraz with beautiful perfumes on the nose and lovely fleshy fruit flavours on the palate, the tannins are soft and generous combining to give the wine a well structured finish.

This Plantagenet Cabernet Sauvignon has everything you're looking for in a great Cabernet Sauvignon. Rich chocolate flavours mix well with a savoury undertone giving the perfect balance. Combined with hints of soft French oak and ripe tannins, this one should not be missed.

Rosabrook was one of the first wine producing pioneers of the Margaret River region and their expertise is demonstrated in the palate of this medium bodied Shiraz with bright spicy fruit, a richly flavoured middle palate and a long spicy finish. Although Shiraz is a lesser known variety of this premium region, it's examples like this that mean it's gaining a growing following.

Aromas of bright boysenberry, blood plums and liquorice. Classy oak adds mocha and spice to palate that's bursting with luscious fruit. Medium bodied with soft tannins and a lingering finish.

Margaret River is renowned for its premium Siraz wines. This example emanates from one of Wilyabrup's a multi star rated Halliday Winereis. The fruit was harvested in Mid-April when the skin tannins are ripe and the flavours are bold. The whole berries add some spice and complexity to the wine. Aromas of glazed plums, cloves and cracked peppercorns give way to a rich palate with hints of citrus blossom, oyster shell and vanilla pod compliment a long and complex finish, further exhibiting a bright fruit core and pure longevity of pristine tannin. The fruit is de-stemmed with no crushing of the berries so that we begin whole berry fermentation. The whole berries seem to add some spice and complexity to the wine. Our Shiraz seems to enjoy relatively cool ferments, plenty of aeration and gentle treatment. The wine is gently pressed of skins, near dryness, based on taste.The bubbly purple wine finishes its fermentation in the presence of mainly French oak, with the smallest portion of American oak. The wine is racked when it has finished its malolactic fermentation, and then once or twice more over the season based on its individual requirements. Balanced and elegant tannins, nicely integrated oak, gives the wine balance and structure. Ø WINEMAKING Each parcel of fruit is gently crushed and transferred into small open fermenters. Heading down boards keep the cap submerged for better skin contact. The fermenters are temperature controlled to provide optimum conditions. Gentle extraction is achieved by the draining of wine from the skins and returning back over. Wine is then transferred to temperature controlled stainless steel tanks for maturation. Crimson purple with a black intensity the nose is immediate Shiraz, black fruits and spice with gravelly graphite note. The palate is intense showing concentrated ripe blackberry and liquorice spice. The tannins are full and chocolate rich showing this wine has extended cellaring potential with a firm long persistent finish. Cellar for 20+ years.
