Red wine artisan, Marco Cirillo, has produced a single vineyard Shiraz with as minimal intervention as possible. Using 90% whole berry and 10% whole bunch as well as natural yeast fermentation without fining or filtering, this Shiraz screams of its terroir. Expressive fruit up front of plums and red berries with small waft of leafy characters. The palate dances across the tongue without hindrance from over use of oak and is a supreme wine for the price.

From the famous Tuscan region of Chianti, this wine is made from Sangiovese. The Chianti Classico style a wine is slightly richer on the palate, yet with that trademark dusty tannin and earthy spice backbone that make this wine such a brilliant match with pasta.

Classically pale in the glass, Nebbiolo is a deceptive and beautiful wine by Pizzini. The nose is all allure and seduction with classic, deep rose petal perfume, plenty of anise-scented spice and bright red fruits. The EJ Shiraz is the jewel in Paxton's organic and biodynamic crown. Awarded 95 points in the Halliday Wine Companion 2017, this wine is the result of low yielding vines that are more than a century old. The flavour is elegant and round and the nose offers vanilla, black current and oak.

Kanopkop's Kadette is a a blend of Pinotage, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot that is full bodied and concentrated. It is a fantastic ambassador for South African wines and drinks well with spicy meat dishes.
