919 Durif is not for the faint-hearted. It has an intense aroma of violet, spice, mint, chocolate and mulberry leaf. The palate has lashings of flavour with berry fruits, cinnamon and nutmeg spices, and hints of tobacco over a foundation of mulberry leaf and American oak, finishing long, firm and dry. This full-bodied style goes particularly well with beef or kangaroo fillet served with a quondong or caramelised onion sauce. Surprisingly, it also goes well with pavlova with mixed berry topping. Drink now, or cellar up to 15 years. Older wine will benefit from decanting before serving. Serve at room temperature, and consumer within 3 days of opening.

This light red wine has elegant cherry hues with aromas of sweet cherry, delicate oak, strawberries and smoked meat. The palate is savoury, vibrant and full, with spicy vanilla, cherry, strawberry and watermelon flavours, very fine tannins and a firm finish. Sangiovese is a classic warm climate variety, traditionally served with pork and fennel, but suited to easy Italian dishes such as pasta, pizza or a selection of cured meats. Serve at room temperature in the winter, or chill lightly in the summer.

This luscious red wine is inky dark with bright crimson hues with aromas of white pepper, spice, blackberry when freshly opened. After breathing, the wine shows smokey and minty, clove, liquorice, blackberry and blackcurrant perfume. Elegant full flavours, layered with rich pepper, cinnamon, coffee and dark chocolate notes, and hints of savoury rare roasted beef give this wine a savoury note that pairs perfectly to duck and brown lentils, slow cooked brisket or sticky pork ribs. The wine may throw a crust when aged.

The palate has a refreshing juicy acidity with a crunchy tannin structure that finishes clean, crisp and dry.

This wine has the classic dark cherry, dried herbs and spice aromas that you would expect from the southern part of the Barossa. The palate has intense dark berry flavours wrapped up with mouthcoating chocolaty texture ; think black forest cake. The other hallmark of this vineyard is the acidity which gives length and persistence to the palate and longevity to the wine.

This modern Australian Sangiovese is brimming with ripe cherry and rose petal aromas. Medium bodied with great balance, the palate is full of raspberry, five spice and cherry, matched with restrained oak and fine tannins. Suitable for immediate enjoyment, this wine will also reward careful cellaring.
