"Sourced from several premium sites in Margaret River, this was a once in a 25-year vintage," say the team at Xanadu. The wine was maturated for 14 months in 20 percent French oak barrels creating a generously vibrant, full-bodied wine with juicy blackcurrant, cassis and dark chocolate flavours, interwoven with hints of spicy oak. "We’re proud to have collaborated with Vintage Cellars on this wine, which is distinctly Xanadu, with some funky new clothes on!" The vintage was sourced from select parcels of fruit that was primarily Xanadu Estate grown on our Boodjidup vineyard. This medium bodied and elegant wine is a blend of predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon enhanced with a small percentage of classic varietals. Following fermentation and extended maceration, the wine has been matured in new and old French oak barriques, producing a complex blend of Margaret River fruit characters including cassis, eucalypt, capsicum, mulberry and plum with secondary notes of chocolate and cedar. 93/100 James Halliday Wine Companion 2016.

Quality Margaret River Cabernet at an affordable price! Ringbolt Cabernet Sauvignon has rich fruit with overtones of mulberries, chocolate and a hint of violets. It is well balanced with subtle oak, some cedary, herbal notes and fine tannins on the finish.

Xanadu Fusion Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits vibrant, characteristic aromas of ripe blackcurrants, dark berry fruits, and black plums entwined with savoury hints of bay leaf and spicy, toasty oak. The full-bodied palate is packed full of juicy fruits of the forest, cassis and mocha flavours. A generous wine, with a solid tannin structure and fleshy fruit characters which persist through to a warm, lingering finish.

Always regarded as one of Margaret River's favourite wineries due to the inherant quality. Forester Estate seems to marry beautifully with their value-for-money philosophy. This Cabernet Merlot continues to win wide acclaim due to its dark purple colour and its lifted aromas of raspberries and black forest cake. Rich berry flavours are well balanced by a tight tannin structure typical of quality Margaret River Cabernets. TASTING:Stunning vibrant fruit aromatics blackberry, cassis, and forest fruits. There's a hint of earthiness and spice adding complexity and a savoury element. The tannins are fine and long and drive the palate. Hint of red berries and pomegranate linger on the palate. The oak is intergrated and classy. WINEMAKING:Machine harvested fruit, crushed and destemmed. A portion of the fruit fermented in open-top fermenters, and the main portion in a larger format red fermenter. Macerated on skins for 10 days before being pressed into temperature controlled tanks to finish fermentation. Aged in 15% new oak, mostle French and some Hungarian for 18 months.

This wine is largely sourced from a single block of vines planted with Tempranillo, Shiraz and Merlot. With aromas of ripe, fresh summer fruit berries with a hint of lifted violet notes, this is a dry Rosé with balanced acidity. A medium-bodied wine displaying raspberry and strawberry fruit flavours on the palate with a satisfying persistent finish.
