Wine whisperer Stuart Pym has crafted this pure Cabernet Sauvignon loaded with dusty red cherry and blueberry flavours that hit all the right notes.

The perfume is driven by a combination of violets, ripe cherries and cedar notes. A powerful palate of plums, black currants andnuances of bay leaf. Food Matches: rack of lamb, roasted vegetable lasagne ora juicy rib-eye steak. Peak drinking: Ready to enjoy on release but cellaring upto 10 years from vintage will find further complexity.

Dark ruby in colour, St Johns Brook Cabernet Sauvignon has bright aromas of blackbcurrant and rosehip on the nose, with a fresh, tart palate of cassis, dark forest fruits and complex dusty tannins.

Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are sourced from several select vineyard sites located in the Wilyabrup sub region and north to Wildwood Rd in an endeavour to capture ripe fruit flavours, supple tannins and the distinctive perfume of Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon. A deep and inviting black cherry colour with floral notes of violets and fruity, doughy aromas of just baked blackberry muffins. The palate is soft, inviting, and full of free range forest fruits, vanilla, cocoa and loads of supple, fine tannin. Such a pleasure to drink now but with ample ripe tannin structure to allow for aging up to 5 years.

A deep crimson red which opens with the classical Margaret River nose...fresh varietal notes of bright berried fruits, briar and sea spray, followed by wafts of chocolate and mocha with subtle spiced oak aromas. A medium to full bodied palate shows cassis and Satsuma plum characteristics, leading into the sweet mid-palate depth of chocolate and mocha, finishing with defined talents. The wine is elegant and shows great length of flavour and well-structured palate line. 'Pure and fragrant, expect a nose layered with cassis, blackcurrant, leaf and dusty spice rack spices, while in your mouth it's pure, beautifully structured, fine and dry. This beautiful wine displays an attractive ruby red colour in a glass. The well balanced bouquet emits medium intensity fragrances of blackberry, dried herbs and earth. It offers coffee, toasted oak and vanilla characters towards the end. The nose smoothly makes way for a lush palate, filled with flavours of juicy forest fruits and soft vanilla, leading to savoury notes. Together with palate coating tannins, these characters culminate in a cocoa and coffee dominated finish.
