Aromatic dark fruits of mulberry and black plum. A complex and layered palate of primary mulberry and blackberry supported by black olive and dark chocolate with the gentlest hint of toasty french oak. Estate grown from the spectacular hillside vineyard in the Ferguson Valley of the Geographe wine region, fruit is sourced predominately from the Blinman block which was planted in 1998. Soil is typically a deep layer of ironstone gravelly loam over red and yellow friable clay with slight westerly aspects at elevations of 220 to 250m above sea level. The Coat of Arms is an expression of the deep dark fruit characters we attain from the Ferguson region, rich and smooth with lashings of chocolate, entwined with secondary characters of oak and black olive. Winemaking technique enhances the aromatic and flavour profile of the varieties whilst maintaining a long fine tannin structure. Maturation adds further layers.

Risky Business Shiraz Tempranillo Grenache is a blend of 2% Malbec and 13% Grenache grapes with 17% Tempranillo and 68% Shiraz grapes. The resulting wine displays dark crimson red hues, with rich aromas of sweet ripe plums and smoky steeped fruits flowing off its luxurious bouquet. These vibrant fragrances effortlessly shift to the palate to provide juicy flavours of spicy plum fruits and smoky characters. The fine tannins offer an elegant mouthfeel, culminating in a generous and captivating finish showing hints of astringency. A vibrant yet elegant Margaret River Cab. Black and blue fruits form a core with nots of dark chocolate, moch a and baking spices, all wrapped in silky tannins. Certified organic winery Churchview owned by the Fokkema family, headed by Spike Fokkema, who originally emigrated from the Netherlands in the 1950s.
