Houghton Gladstones Cabernet Sauvignon is a wonderful example of well established wineries in the Western Australian wine scene with access to some amazing vineyards sites within the Margaret River. On show here are marvelous aromas and flavours of bay leaf, black tea and some spicy mocha notes. Excitingly dense on palate with harmonious oak balance and impressive acidity. A brilliant wine.

The grapes for our 2016 Showy Willow Sauvignon Blanc come from a small vineyard at the top of Willunga Hill in the Adelaide Hills. The fruit was hand pick and progressively transported to our winemaker in McLaren for crushing and fermentation. Aromas This is a pale yellow-green wine presenting intensely tropical aromas with passionfruit and pineapple leading to a rich full palate.

White gold in colour the Prophets Rock displays floral and citrus aromas and flavours with a strong underlying minerality. These aromas are echoed on the concentrated, crisp and lingering palate. The freshness and aromatics make this a great food wine which will harmonize with a diverse range of fish, seafood, salads and white meats.

A riper expression of Sauvignon here. Quince, a little smoke, fresh pineapple, honey and leaf, a fleshy glossy glide, but cut with flinty texture and pink grapefruit acidity, finish is particularly long with orchard fruit, quinine and a smattering of green herb. Excellent wine.

ISABEL ESTATE VINEYARD Aratoro Chardonnay, Marlborough Isabel Estate was established in Marlborough in 1980 and has some of the oldest vines in the region. Aratoro (meaning 'path of discovery') is Isabel Estate's top-tier range. This single-vineyard wine is crafted from some of the oldest vines on the Isabel Estate vineyard. The Chardonnay is crafted from naturally low yielding vines that provide fruit with great concentration and acidity. The resulting wine is powerful and intricate, displaying notes of gunsmoke, white peach, and nectarine, with hints of lemon and lime. The citrus note gives the wine length and vibrancy. Mineral, linear, lengthy and fine acidity carries the wine and gives this beautiful wine great age-ability.

CLOTILDE DAVENNE Saint Bris Vieilles Vignes Clotilde Davenne wines come from the village of Courgis, right next door to her winery in Prehy. The Saint Bris Vieilles Vignes has an intense fresh minerality with grapefruit, mandarin and peach notes. The wine has a pleasing texture with a mighty yet refined balance between the concentrated flavours of stone fruit, citrus, blackcurrant, leaves and dried fruit. A harmonious and flavoursome wine with a long and elegant finish.

Nicely rounded yet fresh in the mouth, herbaceous gooseberry, citrus and asparagus flavours overlay grassy and gun smoke infused back drop. The Berthier family have been winegrowers for five generations, with Clement and Florian taking over the reins in 2012 to continue the family tradition. Clement is responsible for winemaking and sales, while Florian is focused on the vineyards. Located across the Loire River opposite Pouilly Fume, the terroir for this Sancerre comprises mainly of flint and limestone. This 100% Sauvignon Blanc is racy and expressive, with bright grapefruit, white flowers, and notes of struck flint. The palate opens up rich and full, finishing with a rich yet silky freshness.

R de Rieussec, Château Rieussec's dry white wine, is a blend of 59% Sauvignon Blanc and 41% Sémillon, with 20% fermented in barrels to enhance aging potential.
