First Creek (Hunter Valley) Shiraz

First Creek are really winning over a lot of new fans, especially wine drinkers who may have previously not given the Hunter Valley its fair dues. In the glass: Deep garnet to purple. On the nose: Black and blueberry fruit, and spice. On the palate: Medium to full-bodied with luscious texture and soft tannins. Showing black cherry, blueberry and vanilla alongside red liquorice notes. Long and moreish.

Hungerford Hill Early Bird Moscato

In the glass: Pale pink. On the nose: Musk, nectarine, peach and white grapes. On the nose: Plump, soft and full of fruit with a sweet mix of stonefruit, guava and grapes, a gentle balancing spritz and lovely texture adding to its charm. A very well made Moscato and true to style.

Glenguin Vineyard Semillon

The Little Wine Company Barbera

Dalwood Estate Shiraz

From one of the Hunters oldest wineries, this stunning Shiraz exemplifies what the region can do with a great vintage, great fruit, and great winemaking. Bryan Currie and team, take a bow this wine is exceptional. In the glass: Deep red purple. On the nose: Plum, blackberry, black pepper and vanillin oak. On the palate: Shows a fleshy core of dark fruit with attractive peppery spice notes, well-judged vanillin oak and fine, savoury tannins.

De Iuliis Hunter Valley Chardonnay

Subtle aromas of vanillin oak and melon, with a hint of green pear. Oak and fruit are well balanced. A rich fruit palate combines with a creamy texture from the French Oak treatment. The aftertaste is clean, with lingering peach flavours. Drinks well now, but will continue to improve with 3-4 years further cellaring.

Tyrells HVD Single Vineyard Semillon

Floral fruit in youth, moving towards biscuity characters with age. A generally softer bodied palate with smoother acids than the Vat 1 and Belford Semillons.

Mercer Wines Shiraz Nouveau

A beautifully juicy and spicy modern Hunter Valley Shiraz with fruit taking centre stage rather than oak.

Macquariedale Organic Wines MacBlush Rosè

This hand crafter natural wine is created from Certified Organic/Biodynamic Shiraz grapes. The grapes were picked at ultimate ripeness to encapsulate the delicate flavours and crisp acidity. Extended lees contact creates the long mouth feel and red berry flavours. To be enjoyed with friends. Rosè at any time of day.
