Meet the black sheep of the Scarborough family, a Pinot Noir that defies the odds of a warm region with varietal charm. These days its a scarcity to find Pinot Noir in the Hunter Valley but Scarborough are firm believers in the style and select the best fruit possible to create a non-vintage style that is the best interpretation of the variety. Aroma/Palate: Made from the classic Hunter white varieties semillon (70%) and chardonnay (30%). The semillon provides great freshness with its citrus acidity, while the chardonnay lends this wine a wonderful balance and fullness on the palate. Serving Suggestion: Superb as an aperitif or cocktail. Also the perfect accompaniment to fine seafood and oysters. Why else would we call it Neptune? Cheers!

Fermentation in new French oak barriques using natural yeast provided Margan White Label Chardonnay its pale lemon colour. The wine's bouquet is a compilation of white nectarine, grapefruit, struck match and cedar spice aromas. The palate of this modern Australian Chardonnay is lush with flavours of green apple, white peach and flint. Subtle influences of oak and sharp acidity give line and length to the finish. This white varietal can be enjoyed with crispy pork belly or mushroom risotto.

The grapes used to craft this wine were hand-picked in late January from Majors Lane Vineyard. De Iuliis Single Vineyard Semillon is a pale lime green-hued wine with an alcohol level of 10.5%. The lifted nose exudes floral and zesty citrus aromas while the palate is crisp and clean with citrus flavours, balanced by an innate mineral acidity that leads to a lingering finale. With a cellaring potential till 2021, this vibrant wine is a great match for seafood and roasted chicken with orange and thyme.

Elizabeth Semillon was first made by Mount Pleasant in 1967. Named for Her Majesty and inspired by the first royal visit to Australia in 1954, its appropriate that age only adds to this classic Hunter Valley Semillons character and class. This really is something special- James Halliday on the 2010 vintage Grapefruit and cut grass greet the nose, and the palate is at once energetic and fleshy, a stream of fine acidity lending freshness. Elizabeth is built for the ages, and will evolve gracefully with careful cellaring.

An unwooded early drinking style, the wine has intense varietal characteristics with aromas of limes, sweet fruit and some spice. The palate is well balanced with the fruit sweetness balanced by a crisp acid finish.

This wine exhibits all the hallmark characteristics of Hunter Valley Shiraz, with a good level of spice backed up with a red berry palate, showing strength and complexity. We have aged this wine for a few years to ensure that it is ready for enjoyment on release.
