Shiraz Cabernet is an Australian classic blend which brings together the dark berry spice notes of Shiraz and the savoury structure of Cabernet Sauvignon. This blend exudes vibrant berry fruit characteristics with mocha and dark chocolate on the palate. It is flavoursome, rich and balanced with integrated oak and a long smooth finish. This is a distinctive Longview wine which has all the attributes that define our Adelaide Hills single vineyard.

Who are you is a deceptively attractive 93pts blend (65% Shiraz and 35% Mataro) taking an old school work-horse variety (Mataro) to pump up the volume on classic Clare Valley Shiraz... this is classy, complex and finely crafted. "... with plump mouthfeel backed by silky texture and beautifully melded tannins, offering excellent drinking. 93pts” (Sam Kim Wine Orbit). Ray Jodan, Wine Pilot agrees: "The seductive appeal is evident immediately the vibrant burst of red fruits leaps from the glass. A spicy and slightly savoury edge sits snuggly with the plump plummy cherry flavours of the palate. There’s a delicious, sweet fruit character on the finish. Medium red with a purple hue in the glass, Jim Barry The Forger Shiraz opens with a brooding array of purple fruits with a hint of violet lift then countered with notes of cinnamon and sweet oak char. The palate is packed with the rich brambly fruit which follows on from the nose. Fine, chalky tannins give the wine a plush, velvety texture that fills the length of the palate. The Forger has a rich, lingering, persistent finish and is ideal for cellaring.

Pure Vision Shiraz is an elegant dry organic red wine offering complex French and American oak barrel characters, this medium to full bodied organic Shiraz is dominated by delicious berry flavours and aromas.

This wine is named after the myriad of paths, tracks and trails that dominate the famous Morialta Conservation Park that are lovingly explored by its visitors. The Adelaide Hills wine region is located nearby and is equally famous for its ability to produce some of Australia's best loved wines. Our Winemakers explored many grape trails across the Hills to track down the best parcels of fruit to go into this wine. Follow the deep red road to discover aromas of beautiful blackberries and cherries. Your mouth will be filled with rich and velvety dark plums and savoury spice notes. This stylish Shiraz finishes long and well-balanced making it an easy wine to pair with grilled or roasted meats.

If we’re honest, there’s not a single reason that we don’t love Sidewood. They’re far from being one-trick ponies (although everyone can find a favourite in their range). Whether it be sensational sparkling, succulent sauvignon blanc, perfect pinot noir, or shining chardonnay. This time, the spotlight is on the shiraz. Selected fruit, estate crafted, 100% french oak treatment through fermentation and 15 months maturation, before final barrel selection is undergone. No stone left unturned, no drop of wine slips by without quality assured. To simply say this overdelivers doesn’t do it justice: this excels in its own category and ones above.
